How to Get 2026 Mazda CX-50 Cars Shipped to the Middle East & Central Asia
By EVtoU Export DeskPublished Updated 7 min read

Short answer: Middle East orders travel by sea — Ro-Ro vessel or container — to ports such as Jebel Ali, Jeddah, Dammam, Hamad, Sohar and Aqaba. Central Asian orders travel overland by rail or car-carrier truck through crossings such as Khorgos. We quote FOB or CIF for sea routes and agree a handover point for overland deliveries.
Step 1: How do you request a shipping quote?
Send four details: model and trim (for example the 2026 CX-50 2.5L Touring), quantity and colours, destination port or city, and preferred Incoterm. We reply within 24 hours with availability and a quotation.
Step 2: FOB or CIF?
With FOB, our price covers the cars loaded on board at the Chinese port and you arrange ocean freight. With CIF, we also pay freight and minimum insurance to your port. Both are defined in Incoterms® 2020 by the International Chamber of Commerce. Many first-time buyers ask for both and compare with their own forwarder.
Step 3: Which route does your country use?
| Destination | Mode | Common entry points |
|---|---|---|
| UAE | Sea | Jebel Ali (Dubai) |
| Saudi Arabia | Sea | Jeddah Islamic Port, King Abdulaziz Port (Dammam) |
| Qatar | Sea | Hamad Port |
| Oman | Sea | Sohar, Salalah |
| Jordan | Sea | Aqaba |
| Kazakhstan | Rail / truck | Khorgos, Alashankou–Dostyk |
| Uzbekistan | Rail / truck | Via Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan |
Transit times depend on vessel schedules, port congestion and border capacity at the time of shipment, so we confirm them with each quotation rather than promise a fixed number of days. See our country notes for Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Step 4: Ro-Ro or container?
Ro-Ro vessels drive the cars on board; it is usually economical for larger volumes on regular routes. Containers protect the cars from weather and handling, and let you combine several models. A 40HQ can typically hold three CX-50s with a racking system — see our 40HQ loading guide.

Step 5: Which documents will your clearing agent need?
- Commercial invoice and packing list
- Bill of lading (sea) or transport document (rail/road)
- Certificate of origin
- Vehicle documents with VIN details
- Specification data for conformity: dimensions, weights, engine, emission standard (China 6)
Gulf countries apply technical regulations through the GCC Standardization Organization and national bodies such as Saudi Arabia's SASO. Kazakhstan applies the Eurasian Economic Union's vehicle regulation TR CU 018/2011. Your clearing agent will confirm which certificates are needed; we provide the vehicle data early so nothing waits for paperwork.
Step 6: How do you track the shipment?
You receive a photo or video confirmation at every milestone — preparation, loading and departure — plus the documents as soon as they are issued. Payment terms are agreed on the proforma invoice before anything is paid.
What should you check before ordering?
- Import rules and duties for the engine size you choose
- Age limits if you are considering used units
- Infotainment language and map coverage — these are China-market cars
- Climate expectations for air conditioning and cooling
